Thanksgiving 2010

Our Thanksgiving started with our first meal at Dad and Fonda’s at 11:00.  We ate a delicious traditional Thanksgiving dinner and visited with family.

Feeling the baby kick!

We went out to the pond to throw rocks at the ice.  These guys were scaring me to death as they were testing the strength of the ice.  I had my camera in hand to catch the first one to fall in!

Luckily it was strong enough.  That would have been a cold dip in the pond!

Thanks Dad and Fonda for an excellent dinner!

After Dad’s, we headed to Grandma and Grandpa’s for another delicious meal.  I must say that the stuffing this year was extra delicious to whoever made it!  And thanks Emmy for making Turkey George, he is always fun for the kids to beat the crap out of.

At this point, we left and headed back to Nampa to be with my mom and siblings.  This is the time where we usually eat some turkey sandwiches and map out our plans for Black Friday.  Well, our Black Friday plans got a little complicated due to a certain husband of mine that was leaving for hunting in the morning, so we decided to change our plans this year and go up to the mountains with Daddy instead of shopping (more on that later).  I am sad that I missed out on my mom’s always tender turkey and shopping though.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!  As always I have a jillion things to be thankful for, mostly having an awesome family on all sides.  Love you all!

Bounce

For Mckinlee’s birthday, we went with her family and the Hibberts’s to a bouncy house place in Meridian.  There were 8 or10 big inflatables to play on, it was way fun.  Especially since the adults can use them too (I never did get to race you Clint…probably a good thing because I would have totally embarassed you with my intense speed and agility).  I can see us spending some time in places like these over the winter, you can’t beat hours of entertainment for ten bucks.

Enchanted Trail

Wow, this place is crazy and fun at the same time!  This is going to be a picture overload, there are just too many photo opportunities to pass up.

005

007

There must be at least a hundred of these really intricately made birdhouses all along the trail.  They each had a little sign with a cute or inspirational saying on them.

They had this replica of Christ’s tomb:

Thank you Dad and Fonda for finding this place and for bringing us along!  It’s definitely a new fun family tradition.

Book-it

Bethany recieved her first Book-it coupon from school.  Both Neil and I remember doing this as a child, and we remember how exciting it is to get your very own personal pizza for reading.  Good job Bethany!

First Look…

At this new little person in my tummy.

Everything looks good.  The heart rate was 172 (girl??) and I got confirmation that the due date is June 19, 2011.  A lot of people have been asking us if we hope this baby is a boy.  I just want to clarify that we absolutely don’t care what it is.  I have been more sick and tired with this pregnancy than with my other two (boy??), so who knows.  Either way we are happy.  🙂

Playing in the Leaves

Why is it that kids love to jump in the leaves?  How itchy.  I would prefer a pile of warm laundry.  Everyone had fun though, and I guess it doesn’t really feel like fall unless you jump in some leaves.

Halloween 2010

For Halloween this year, I had a little Princess Mulan and a little Princess Jasmine.  This picture is so funny, Neil said “do a princess pose” and this is what they came up with.

029

They were beautiful.  They were extremely exited to get to wear makeup.

033

The festivities began on Thursday night, with the annual party at Clint and Sydnee’s.   There is always lots of fun and games, except for some reason most of the kids (especially mine) were being shy and did not want to participate in any games.  We still had a fun night like always, thanks guys!

Sydnee’s witches brew was totally cool.

On Saturday we did Trunk or Treat at the church.  The kids got plenty of candy so we decided to just leave it at that.  We didn’t do any acutal trick-or-treating.

There was a triple whammy at my trunk this year, three times the candy!

Happy Halloween!
